The project

NightWare is an FDA-cleared digital therapeutic that interrupts the nightmares behind PTSD, a small real-time intervention, over 2,000 patients, hundreds of thousands of hours of sleep data. For the Series C, the company was making a bigger move: from a single nightmares device to a broad sleep-disturbance platform. The deck captured the numbers but not the vision, it read as analytical, and investor commitment stayed low. We rebuilt it into a dark, cinematic story that sells the platform, so investors feel the crisis and the size of the opportunity.

The starting point

A bold vision, buried under the analysis.

FDA clearance, 2,000+ patients, hundreds of thousands of hours of data, and slides that read like a spreadsheet. Dense tables, flat charts, market numbers stacked corner to corner. Investors could follow the analysis. They just never felt the size of what NightWare was building.

How we worked

We fix the thinking before the slides.

No template, no quick reskin. The same partnership we bring to every founder: strategy first, then design, then motion. The rest of this page is those three moves, in order.

01

Sharpen the message

We started with a working session, not a design tool, walking the deck slide by slide. We reframed NightWare from a nightmares device into a sleep-disturbance platform, led with the hidden crisis, and built the market as a spectrum investors could see themselves in.

02

Design the story

A dark, cinematic system in NightWare violet, real faces, real product, so every slide carries one idea and an emotional pull. The spreadsheet look became a premium investor narrative you feel.

03

Bring it to life

Strategic animation so each point builds on cue as the founder presents one on one, pause, click, and the next idea lands, with talking points to match. Delivered in PowerPoint and PDF, built to send ahead and present live.

Step 01 / Sharpen the message

Same proof. A bigger vision.

Investors kept arriving with the same belief: a nightmares device is too niche to back. So the deck's real job was to widen the lens. We did not change the science. We reframed the device as a platform, led with the hidden crisis, and turned the market from a single number into a spectrum investors could see the upside in.

Before · a single device

"NightWare is an FDA-cleared device for severe nightmares associated with PTSD."

After · a platform

A sleep-disturbance platform. Our FDA-cleared keystone treats nightmares; the same engine expands into conditions affecting millions more.

Why it works   "Nightmares device" makes investors price the market as niche. A proven keystone inside a platform gives the same company room to grow, the difference between a feature and a category.
Before · one market stat

"More than 20 million Americans suffer from chronic nightmares and sleep disorders."  (One number, lost in the analysis.)

After · the hidden crisis

The crisis is far bigger than combat. Childhood, sexual and domestic trauma drive the same nightmares, 10× the military market.

Why it works   The military framing made the market look small. Showing trauma-driven nightmares dwarf the combat market, on a spectrum, moves the opportunity from niche to large and untapped.
Step 02 / Design the story

The same slide, rebuilt to make you feel it.

Here are the real slides, before and after. The light, analytical look becomes a dark, cinematic frame: one idea, room to breathe, and real people and product instead of dense tables and floating numbers.

BeforeOriginal NightWare title slide, plain and corporate
After · live

The opening. From a plain title to the platform vision, in a single frame.

BeforeOriginal why-it-matters slide, a light layout of charts and text
After · live

The hidden crisis. The same human truth, now impossible to look away from.

BeforeOriginal advantage slide, a wall of bullet text
After · live

The NightWare advantage. A wall of bullets becomes a clear, visual moat with the product in hand.

The brand system

One night language, slide to slide.

A single dark palette and grid, so every slide feels like NightWare and like the night it treats. Midnight violet for the dark hours, a bright signal for the science, real photography for the human stakes.

Step 03 / Bring it to life

Built to be presented, not just read.

NightWare is pitched one on one, in advance and in the room. We choreographed the builds so each point lands on cue: the founder pauses, clicks, and the next idea arrives, so the vision unfolds instead of crowding a single slide. Below, the redesigned deck moving through its key moments.

What changed

From a deck investors analysed to one they believe in.

Device → platform
a single nightmares therapy reframed as a sleep-disturbance platform with room to grow
Analytical → cinematic
a spreadsheet of tables and charts rebuilt as a dark, premium investor story
Informed → committed
a vision investors can feel and back, with strategic animation built for the room
Your raise

Is your deck selling the device, or the vision?

If investors follow your analysis but never feel the upside, that is the gap we close. Messaging, cinematic design and strategic animation, so the vision lands the moment you present.
